Michael Leaman

I studied Graphic Design at Rochester College of which led to a career in designing children and adult books for many leading publishers. On retirement I returned to painting and attended adult art classes at Sywell to learn new techniques and experiment with different mediums. My paintings mostly reflect the local area of Northamptonshire plus surrounding counties, depicting beauty spots in a slightly abstracted graphic style, emphasising colour and shapes in nature. Gouache is the medium I most enjoy using and I have successfully achieved several awards through exhibiting with Network Arts and Northants Open Studios. Sent from my iPad
