Ed Robinson

Ed Robinson’s bold and vibrant media compositions are a blend of printed letters, watercolours, acrylics and oils - a style he first experimented with 35 years ago when he was still a student. He works with a fairly light palette, but increasingly is becoming emboldened and, through the mixed media, his paintings explore both light and texture.

After completing a graphic design and illustration course at Great Yarmouth School of Art (now Norwich School of Art), he moved to London working for the leading design and advertising agencies. Here he obtained several national and international design awards and became a Fellow of the Chartered Society of Designers.

Today, his work can be found in some of the UK’s most prestigious galleries and in private collections in the UK, Europe and the USA
