 | Village Hall by Rob Hain BA
Rob was born in Dorset in 1952 and graduated from the Loughborough College of Art with a BA (Hons.) in Fine Art in 1977. His main influences are Lowry, Brueghel and Kandinsky, which reflect his interest in both urban environment and the kaleidoscopic range of colours of rural Scotland.

 | Highland Falls by Kirstie Cohen
Kirstie was born in Edinburgh in 1963, brought up in North Berwick and now lives in the Highlands, working from her studio at her isolated croft. She received her BA (Hons) in Fine Art from the Glasgow School of Art in 1987, continuing for a year with Postgraduate studies. Her work is inspired by the wild hills and shores of the Highlands, and her style of gradually building up layer upon layer evolves its own luminosity and depth, creating mists, sky, stormy clouds, water and sunlight above strong presences of mountain and rock. Kirstie has had work in numerous exhibitions and many solo shows throughout the UK, and has received numerous awards.Her work is found in many prized public and private collections.
